Love, Ralph Lauren Review

Ralph Lauren has launched Love, Ralph Lauren, a new perfume for women:

An extravagant floral oriental Parfum—an exquisite fragrance of warm golden Amber, creamy sandalwood, Orris Root Butter, and its signature the Bulgarian rose, the iconic symbol of love.

Additional notes include patchouli. According to Lauren,

What I most wanted was for the fragrance to have quality. I wanted it to have some longevity; for the experts to say, ‘This is really special.’ I wanted something that was not this year’s fragrance or the luxury of the moment.

Love, Ralph Lauren is available in the limited edition bottle shown (15 ml Eau de Parfum, featuring a 24 karat, hand-painted gold cap with a 47-carat amethyst and a lucite stand, $2200) now for pre-order at Neiman Marcus. Later this year it will also be available in 15 ml Parfum (clear cap, $600) and 3 sizes of Eau de Parfum with garnet-colored caps ($75-$135). (first quote via neimanmarcus, second quote and additional information via wmagazine) Update: Neiman Marcus has a longer description of the fragrance now:

The Goji berry, reminiscent of an aged red wine, radiates throughout the fragrance; A vintage champagne accord adds a sparkling effect; Cool green water accord brings in an airy dimension.
